Garden before Garden layout plan

This garden featured some great mature plants, but to improve the view at the end of the garden, we built a wall around an existing fir tree where previously there was a soil mound, replaced an irregular pond with a formal square one, and added some new plants (bamboos, hydrangeas, a hebe and a palm) to complement the existing planting, in place of an old unused greenhouse and collapsing arch. Roll over the image top left to see how it looked before.
